Ingredients:
5 eggs (you need to separate the egg yolk and yolk from all five eggs)
A little salt
250g of sugar
1/4 cup soft butter (you can even get vegetable oil for this)
A vanilla bean
200g of bread flour
Tablespoons of baking powder1
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
Tablespoons of water3
60g of dark and white chocolate
How to make:
We need to start work as soon as the oven heats up. Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C). But do not turn off the oven thinking it is hot. Bake the cake and keep it in the oven until it comes out of the oven.
Get a jar of oil right now. Add the beaten egg whites and beat on medium speed until it turns white and snowy. That is, beat until it reaches the level of soft peaks. Remember to add a pinch of salt to this. I was told to add salt, but don't add two or three tablespoons. Wear only a small amount that will stick to your fingertips. We call that a pinch of salt, for that amount.
Add a little sugar and stir slowly. This time we have to beat until we reach the firm peaks level.
Get a small pot now. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
Add the pre-separated egg yolks, melted butter or vegetable oil and mix gently.
Now we need to add the previously beaten egg whites and mix slowly.
Then we add the bread flour and some baking powder to the egg mixture, mix well and set aside.
Now take a small bowl and add some cocoa powder to it, add some water and mix well.
We need to take the mixture aside and divide it into two. Add the cocoa mixture to one part of it and stir until it turns chocolate.
Now we're going to put this mixture on a cake tray, it's better to have a tray a little deeper and wider.
If you have a loaf pan like that, it doesn't matter if you buy it or even a regular cake tray. Put a sheet of oil on it and prepare the tray.
First we need to put the unmixed mixture of chocolate on the plate and slowly put the chocolate mixture on top of it.
Then you can gently shake the tray a little and mix the two mixtures a little. Or take something like a slightly longer piece of string and mix the two mixtures very slowly. We do that because we need vanilla injection on the chocolate layer and chocolate on the vanilla layer. When you look at the photos you will understand the work.
Right now we just have to put the cake tray in the oven (remember I said earlier that it should have been hot from the time I put it in the oven. In 50 minutes our marble cake is done.
Now we are going to decorate the cake a bit. Before that we need to take the cake out of the tray and let it dry well.
Meanwhile, gently melt the dark and white chocolate separately. Once the cake has cooled down, place the melted dark and white chocolate on top of the cake and decorate.
Here's our chocolate-vanilla marble cake. Now all you have to do is cut a big piece of cake and eat it.
